We do believe that sustainable and healthy social and economic development can be achieved when private, public and non-governmental organizations are involved in all kinds of issues and problems and are putting their competences in the name of the overall well-being of their societies. Managers need to undertake social projects, participate in civil society organizations and be leaders in active citizenship. In societies where business is only concerned with its own development and is not actively involved in activities of public importance, there is a great loss of potential and the transfer of knowledge and experience certainly suffers from this.
